Disclaimer / Equipment Note:
Outside of standard kitchen equipment, you’ll need a manual or electric grinder for the almonds. Avoid high-speed appliances.

To make the cake as shown in the picture, you’ll also need kransekake molds. You can alternatively shape the rings freehand or use paper templates.

The cake can also be shaped as sticks, cookies, or in any other creative form you like.
